Brief introduction to the matters needing attention in the storage of adhesives

- Aug 14, 2019-

Epoxy resin adhesives should be stored in a ventilated, dry, cool and room temperature environment for a period of six months to one year.

Phenolic resin adhesives should be stored in sealed containers in a cool place away from fire for a period of six months to one year.

Polyisocyanate glue should be stored in brown bottles at low temperatures and away from light. Metal containers should not be used. Rubber and cork bottle stoppers should not be used. Prepolymer polyurethane binder should not be stored at low temperature to prevent condensation. Component A can be stored for 2 years. Component A should pay attention to moisture proof and avoid contact with water or other substances containing active hydrogen for a period of six months to one year.

The storage temperature of urea-formaldehyde resin adhesive should be as low as possible. If 5% methanol is added, the storage stability will be improved.

Storage at room temperature should not be too high (> 30 C) or too low (< 5 C), away from fire source. Storage period is 3-6 months.

A-cyanoacrylate adhesive should be stored in a sealed, low temperature, dry, dark and cool place for a period of one year. Glass bottles last longer than plastic bottles.
